Stachybotrylactam is a spirodihydrobenzofuranlactam mycotoxin originally isolated from Stachybotrys with antiviral activity.{39040,39041} It inhibits HIV-1 protease in vitro with an IC50 value of 161 ?M.{39041} Stachybotrylactam has no effect on oleic acid-elicited intracellular lipid accumulation and has no observable cytotoxicity at concentrations up to 100 ?M in HepG2 cells.{39042}
