N-Demethylvancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic that has been found in Nocardia orientalis.{57766} It is active against several strains of S. aureus and S. epidermidis in vitro and in vivo.{57767} Formulations containing N-demethylvancomycin have been used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
