Mazindol-d4 (Item No. 21640) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of mazindol (Item No. 21642) by GC- or LC-MS. Mazindol is categorized as a stimulant and can be detected in urine and plasma.{34199} It blocks reuptake at the norepinephrine and dopamine transporters, with less inhibition at the serotonin transporter (Kis = 3.2, 27.6, and 153 nM, respectively).{34200} Mazindol is used illegally as an anorectic. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
