Fenbendazole-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of fenbendazole (Item No. 19687) by GC- or LC-MS. Fenbendazole is a benzimidazole anthelmintic.{30623} It is active against Giardia in vitro (IC50 = 0.3 ?M). Fenbendazole (20 mg/kg) prevents infiltration of parasites into the brain in a rabbit model of E. cuniculi infection.{46240} It also activates HIF-1? and prevents oxidative stress-induced death in primary neurons in vitro.{30620}
