Dihydrocodeine (CRM) (Item No. ISO60142) is a certified reference material that is structurally categorized as an opioid. Dihydrocodeine is a weak µ-opioid receptor agonist (Ki = 0.3 µM) with analgesic, antitussive, and antidiarrheal applications.{32097,32099} It is metabolized by cytochrome P450 isoforms 2B6, 2D6, and 3A4, as well as uridine 5’-diphospho-glucuronosyltransferase, to products that are also active µ-opioid agonists.{32096,32098,32085} This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
