CWHM12 is an analog of RGD peptide (Item No. 14501), a tripeptide that inhibits integrin-ligand interactions in studies related to cell adhesion, migration, growth, and differentiation.{5588} CWHM12 selectively inhibits ?v integrins (IC50s = 1.8, 0.8, 61, 1.5, and 0.2 nM for ?v?1, ?v?3, ?v?5, ?v?6, and ?v?8, respectively) over ?IIb?3, ?2?1, and ?10?1.{33437} CWHM 12 attenuates liver, lung, and pancreatic fibrosis in mice treated with CCl4 or cerulein.{33437,33439}
