Corydine is an aporphine alkaloid that has been found in Corydalis and has diverse biological activities.{62649,62650,62651} It inhibits the proliferation of murine L1210 lymphocytic leukemia, B16/F10 melanoma, and P388 leukemia cells when used at concentrations ranging from 10 to 100 µg/ml.{62649} Corydine binds to ?-opioid receptors (Ki = 2.82 µM) and induces [35S]GTP?S binding in CHO cells expressing human ?-opioid receptors (EC50 = 0.51 µM).{62650} It also is active against L. donovani promastigotes (IC50 = 26.7 µM).{62651}
