BMS 986188 is a positive allosteric modulator of ?-opioid receptors, with an EC50 value of 0.05 ?M in a ?-arrestin recruitment assay in the presence, but not absence, of the opioid receptor agonist leu-enkephalin (Item No. 23283).{38565} It is selective for ?- over ?-opioid receptors (EC50 = >10 ?M) in the presence of leu-enkephalin and the ?-opioid receptor agonist endomorphin 1 (Item No. 23280), respectively.
