This monthly focus highlights Cayman’s new lipid resource center.
Cayman, a world leader in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of lipids, continues to expand an extensive collection of products designed as useful tools for lipid biochemistry research. Their scientists have pioneered a line of MaxSpec® standards and analysis kits for quantitative mass spectrometry. They also synthesize small molecules that target many different biochemical pathways, and develop proteins, antibodies, and assay kits for the detection of key components of the machinery of cellular metabolism and transport of lipids, in order to help unveil the roles of lipids in physiological processes and in disease. The new lipid resource center has been designed to help researchers in their search for lipid research products.
