N-formyl-2-Aminophenol is a bacterial secondary metabolite that has been found in P. chrysogenum and has antioxidant activity.{68094,68095} It scavenges DPPH (Item No. 14805) radicals in a cell-free assay with an IC50 value of 3.23 µg/ml.{68095} N-formyl-2-Aminophenol has also been used in the synthesis of compounds with antibacterial and antifungal activities.{68096}
