CCT031374 is an inhibitor of ?-catenin/transcription factor (TCF) complex signaling.{57366} It inhibits TCF-dependent transcription induced by expression of ?N-?-catenin, a constitutively active, stabilized form of ?-catenin, but not expression of a constitutively active TCF-VP16 fusion protein in reporter assays at 30 µM. CCT031374 (80 µM) induces apoptosis in, and inhibits growth of, HCT116 colon cancer cells.
