(±)-Clorprenaline-d7 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of clorprenaline by GC- or LC-MS. Clorprenaline is a ?2-adrenergic receptor agonist.{47301} It reverses pilocarpine-induced constriction of isolated guinea pig trachea, rabbit lung, and bronchi of pithed dogs.{47302} It has been detected in pork, beef, mutton, and chicken muscle food samples by UPLC-Q-orbitrap-HRMS.{47301} Formulations containing clorprenaline have been used as partitioning agents and growth promoters in livestock.
