7-Xylosyltaxol is a taxane and derivative of paclitaxel (Item No. 10461) that has been found in T. chinensis and has microtubule disruptor and anticancer activities.{58236,37074,58237} It induces the disassembly of pig brain and Physarum microtubules in cell-free assays (IC50s = 0.2 and 0.4 µM, respectively).{37074} 7-Xylosyltaxol inhibits proliferation of A549, MCF-7, A2780, HCT-8, and SW480 cancer cells with IC50 values of 0.39, 0.16, 0.85, 5.9, and 5.6 µM, respectively.{58237}
