Phenazepam (Item No. 9000849) is an anxiolytic and hypnotic sedative.{19035} 3-hydroxy Phenazepam is a major metabolite of phenazepam.{25857,25858} There are significant differences in the rate of phenazepam metabolism in different species, so that 3-hydroxy phenazepam can be detected shortly after oral administration of the parent compound in cats, rats, and dogs but not in humans.{25858} The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.
